My plane has the upgraded interior, it's awesome!
Not my pic, but you get the idea. It's brighter, more open feeling, and altogether nicer than the older style

Did it still have that new plane smell?
I took a flight home from Seattle once and got to be on the first passenger carrying flight of a brand new airplane. Best part of a new plane isn't the smell, it's how QUIET everything is. It's all still got the factory loctite on it, and nothing has developed any rattles yet.
